USSSA Baseball has designed the "A" classification for Recreational and entry-level competitive teams Only! To enter the "A" World Series, all teams must qualify as a "Single "A" Team" under USSSA guidelines. USSSA State Directors make the call on who is a "Single "A" Team" and who may enter the World Series. If you have any questions regarding if you qualify as a "Single "A" Team" and for the World Series, please contact your State Director.
Some USSSA State Directors will not allow your team to play in the 'A' World Series without attending the State Championship Tournament. Missouri and Kansas teams must play in their respective State Championship Tournaments in order to qualify to attend the 'A' World Series. This qualification is not reflective on your performance at the State Tournament, You just must participate in it to qualify.
